On behalf of Bedford Road, we would like to welcome the Winston Knoll Wolverines from Regina, Saskatchewan to BRIT 2001. This is their first appearance at BRIT and we would like to wish them the best of luck in this year’s tournament.
A team which has a majority of grade 12's is bound to have a lot of experience. Coming from a school which opened in 1996 with a population of 1050 students and is presently being ranked first in Regina, they look like a smaller yet outstanding school. Coach Steven Burrows and assistant coach Terry Ross whose team is part of the Regina High School Athletic Association, expects to be competitive in a very tough league. Their top three scorers are: Joel Hunter, Dallyn Smith and Aaron Anderson.
They execute a fast paced offense combined with a mostly man-to-man defense. This should make for very exciting games. From the staff and students here at Bedford Road, we'd like to wish the Winston Knoll Wolverines the best of luck in BRIT 2001.
