St. Mary's Saints

On behalf of the staff and students of Bedford Road, we would like to welcome the St. Mary's Saints from Calgary, Alberta to BRIT 2001. This will be the team's second appearance ever at BRIT and they are excited to be here.

Coming from a school of 121 years and 1250 students, the Saints are expected to do well. Prior to BRIT, the team has won a tournament in Calgary and played in a tournament in Long Beach. Head coach, Mr. Kevin Johnston, believes that the team's aggressive defense and fast breaking style should give the other teams some competition. The Saints are a competitive team who will benefit from the play of top scorers - Mike Dipaolo, Tico Iron Shirt, and Mike Kim. 

We expect to see some exciting, fast-paced games played by the Saints and we are hoping that they will do well. We look forward to seeing the team in action, and wish them the best of luck in this year`s tournament.
